In related news, an acquaintance who works as a juggler/performer just had a large gig cancelled at the last minute due to "fears of a global pandemic". He'll get to keep his deposit, but it's nothing compared to the loss of potential income, and it's too late to make alternative arrangements. Many entertainers and vendors are going to be impacted by cancellations.

Its not just entertainers and vendors. I think a huge group impacted by this are stage builders/event planners and booth builders (especially since so far most really big events have been cancelled like Google IO etc)
