Does the free NetSuite SuiteApprovals app supports approvals via emails without NetSuite access at all?

Not sure about the SuiteApproval app, but I have developed the exact custom solutions to handle approvals via email.

Thanks. In my previous company, our developer also built a custom one. But it took 100+ hours if I'm not mistaken. That's why I'm wondering if the SuiteApprovals would just work fine.

That's crazy! It's not 100 hours work.

In SuiteAppeovals the user need to be assigned a Role. So you will need minimum Employee Center or one of the new roles that they are licensing for approvals.
