(Forwarded to #general) Hi, how can I allow someone other that the Project Manager on a project to edit the project? I asked the stanley-ai channel and it simply said 'they just need the Projects role permission'. Which is not true

@David B It's been so long since I've dealt with projects that I may be way off base here, but did you try adding the 'Jobs' permission under the 'Lists' subtab?
Or maybe this is the issue, and you need to add that role to the restrictions list? https://suiteanswers.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1021094/loc/en_US

looking into and will let you know. Thanks =]

Hope that helps! I haven't dealt with projects in like 5 years, so I'm a bit behind the times and don't have a current account to test things in, sadly.

@James Morris, SuiteAnswer #1021094 was 100% the solution, thank you so much. For others:
Resolve Error: "Only Project Manager and Administrator Can Edit Project in Custom Role"
Applies To
Product: NetSuite 2025.1
SuiteApp/Bundle:
◦ Restrict Project Access
Scenario
A user with a custom Project Manager role encounters an error message when attempting to edit a project record: "Only Project Manager and Administrator Can Edit." This issue occurs in instances where project editing permissions are restricted. The problem may be caused by the custom role not being included under permitted roles for project editing in the Project Restriction settings.
Solution
1. Using Administrator role, navigate to Setup > Company > Restrict Project Access
2. _Enable Project Restriction_: Enter Checkmark
3. Under Selected Permitted Roles, hold Ctrl on your keyboard and select the custom role to add it to the selection
4. Click Save
Note: Changes made in these settings may impact access for other users. Review all permitted roles before saving.
