I am trying to deploy a workflow using SDF VS code plugin, I am getting this , it’s a workflow on Purchase order, the others have been deployed with similar info, but there is just one, which is stuck, I don’t have any map to change this key. there is no mention of -2 in the xml, I have tried changing it SALESORDER or CASHSALE, but the error remains same, just reference key becomes whatever I input in recordtypes, -2 is constant. An error occurred during custom object update. Details: Invalid recordtypes reference key PURCHASEORDER for recordtype -2.

What role are you using? If it is not admin, check the permissions.

Hey, I got it, thanks, The problem was actually, there was a workflow existing with on different parent record with same id, (another reason we need descriptive ids) So let’s suppose custworkflow7 is a customer workflow in PROD, but the one we fetched from SBX has the same script id but is a transaction workflow, so sales order or purchase order doesn’t come under entity.
