I think it depends largely on how you view SuiteWorld and what you want to get out of it. In my capacity as an independent consultant, SuiteWorld has always been an extremely valuable networking event leading to follow-up work as well as solid connections in the dev world, and that's exactly what I go there to get out of it. If instead I was going there with the intent of learning and sharpening my dev skills, I think I would be sorely disappointed.
