@dj I hate to break this down for you or maybe be too blunt but that is almost 3 jobs in one and your are in the lowest possible range for a decent or certified NetSuite Developer. Best of luck in your search.

Pretty much what I was reading. Developer, Admin, Consultant && you must reside in a specific state. Yikes.
c
Yeah its unfortunate as their stuff is so good
r
well looks like they changed the job add to remote and removed the salary. Still not a typical to see an experienced Dev who is also willing to Admin/Functional work.
m
What was the pay?
d
@alien4u I totally understand your point of view. It seems like a lot of available NS positions in the NS market are a blend of Admin/Dev or prefer it. We're really looking for someone who is able to wear multiple hats in order to have better coverage in our fast paced environment.
c
@mightyd3 the linkedin description estimates 60k-103k which is at least half what it should be on either end.
m
oooooff. Good luck with that.

@dj I understand this, but this is not just "my point of view" this is a "fact" called Average Salary for this particular role or niche and is heavily driven by offer and demand and the demand for NetSuite Developers is HIGH, with 63k-75K you are only getting a Junior Developer probably not even certified.

The salary level we have info on is extremely low. Like insultingly low.
m
I know netsuite devs who are getting $175-225k offers with another $25k-100k a year in equity.... So much opportunity out there. (with plenty of experience, of course)
c
Yep I know 2 guys that just got jobs north of 200k in netsuite dev with way more equity than that (equity is pretty useless unless they plan on selling though)
d
out of curiosity what city/region do those folks live in? I assume those figures are to account for higher cost of living largely (they seem high to me) but idk
m
remote, US
d
Hey guys, our range is much higher than that, I think the numbers that @creece found is just an estimate generated from linkedin data which is inaccurate.
c
They work from home in US
Thats great then @dj.
m
You can be a software engineer at any large public company and pull in those numbers 4 yrs in. In all reality, NetSuite just catching up.
c
I interviewed w/ Ubiquiti and I told them 170k and they never even called me back
like just the initial call w/ an HR lady
d
US is quite a broad territory 😂 guess it depends if they are in LA or middle of Mississippi lol if the latter then I'm sure they are living like royalty
m
within an hour of a major city (not LA or NYC)

c
im in the middle of ohio and make that
m
I am fully remote, make nearly that.... in a baby city.
c
yep exactly
m
That being said.... remote is remote. I was offered 3 jobs paying about the same in three different states.

Man, what does Ubiquiti have against Minnestoans? All the states they listed have big tech scenes, but not Minnesota? Hell.
