Does the NetSuite /ERP industry experience a slowdown when the rest of the economy does?

I don't think there is a one size fits all answer. Economic downturns do not effect every industry the same. So IMO it would depend on the industry your are in and whether you're on the end user or consulting side. Take the CoVid uncertainty for example. Everyone mostly paused hiring unless they were one of those companies that experienced an explosion of demand. On the other hand, if you are already an employee, I would think admin type positions may be stickier than consulting types in these situations due to cuts in project spending.

I got laid off three weeks ago when the company I was at had problems with revenue due to COVID. It sucked, but the live exhibits business is in bad shape (see: concerts, sporting events, etc) Anyway, my recruiter at Frank who I have worked with for years got me something in a week and I am finishing my second week at a new job.
