What's a reasonable hourly rate, east coast?

This is wholly dependent on the job and your skill set. "Reasonable" has a range from $50 to $250.

depends on why you are asking and for what but to answer that $50-$250 is the range independent contractors working as a contracted admin and not doing intricate stuff: $50 (i would call this support) Independent consultant contractor: they can do anything any other firm can do but you are dealing with a contractor and not a company so if you need diff expertise then 1 consultant might not suffice if you need ARM and scripting done for example #1 basic financial and O2C contractor: $80-120 ish depending on the complexity of the project #2 advanced financials (ARM), suite commerce or a scripting guru : $110-$150 Then you have partner firms which once again depending on their quality fo work will range from $125 (the first one i worked at and their quality of work was MEHHHH at best)- $225 (PWC, RSM, Bridgepoint) on top of that if you need specialized skillset to do some niche work then the prices start to climb higher. For example if you want NS to accept bitcoin through your commerce store (Marty zigman $450/hr) Everyone in the industry is honestly competitively priced. A lot of companies who might not know the ins and outs of NS can sometimes hire a $50-$100 consultant and then ask them for scripts, SCA, ARM and much more (you will generally get what you pay for )

My former employer had to lay me off due to everything going on, but i was their only NS Admin/Developer so they need me for contract work and I had no idea what to say. Now I do. THANK YOU!
