Does anyone have recent experience working with Anderson Frank? I saw some part-time job postings from them but hesitating to contact them since I had terrible experience with them in the past.

There was a thread a while back on this (too old to come up in the history). Most people seem to be pretty negative

I'm not surprised to hear that. Thanks.

I've had good experiences with them, they really just have so many roles open that it's hard to not consider their options too if you're job hunting. They will post a lot of low-paying roles though so just make sure you price yourself appropriately so that you're not getting pinged about those. I'm sure the experiences vary based on who you're working with specifically too.

Yeah, pros: they seem to be the top game in town (at least in the US), so there's a lot of jobs that ultimately go through them. Cons: everything else. Recruiters in general are 99.9% motivated by the commission check and 0.1% motivated by actually helping you find a good fit. AF (like everyone else) will throw you at the jobs they want to put you in regardless of what you say, so if you do work with them be EXTREMELY firm in advocating for yourself. I worked with AF for my last job. Everything worked out fine in the end, but it was a pretty terrible experience overall. Companies, unsurprisingly, would much rather do a direct hire and cut out the excessive commission fee. Feel free to PM me if you want more details.
