Alien, From a recruiters perspective I think it would be unusual for a client or HR not to ask you basic questions. A resume, no matter how well put together and detailed, only tells so much. Thinking that someone asking you basic questions on your skill set as disrespectful is maybe not the right approach. Clients and HR see hundreds of resumes everyday and all they want to hear is you talking excitedly about your past experience and what you do day to day to understand how well you might fit the role they are looking to hire. Its also about communication. how well do you present yourself by being asked simple questions to ascertain your level of interest and competence.
