Hi, Do you know if we can create a non-posting custom transaction in NetSuite?

you can create sales order or purchase order type custom transactions which are non posting by nature unless invoiced or billed

you have to enable custom transaction first then just create the new transaction types

Also with the other types of custom transactions you can set if they are posting or not on the status subtab

I need to select a nominal account. It doesn't allow me to select i.e. Purchase Order account which is a non-posting transaction. 😔

Can't you just create an account for it that means nothing? It's a non posting transaction
