I had an accounting user edit the address on a vendor record and then update that address on one of that vendor's bills. Somehow it also update the rate and amount of the one item on that bill on save at the same time. (The purchase price of that item had increased since the PO was created and partially fulfilled leading to this bill).
Does that rate/amount change make sense to anyone? I can't seem to replicate this on that bill in sandbox. I change the bill's address and rate/amount stay the same as I would expect.

Not possible unless someone change rate. Address don't change values on the lines.

It's one of those questions you ask knowing that it's a stupid one. Of course it should not change unless someone changes the item line rate headbang

Did you try reviewing the line history?

Yeah, did look at the line history and it shows a change to the Rate and Amount fields the same way it does when a user actually makes a change to one of these fields. So yeah, points to someone actually changing it intentionally 😐
