Will it cause any issues if there are multiple people simultaneously logged into the same Netsuite user account on the same instance? For example, if two or more people are using the login johndoe@example.com to login to my company's instance of Netsuite, and they are logged in and are both doing things in the system at the same time, will this cause any issues or errors in Netsuite? The use case here is that we have a handful of people who will need access to Netsuite but they will not be doing very much in the system, but it's possible that two or more of them will need to be logged in at the same time. We are trying to consolidate our usage of licenses, so we'd like to give a few of our low-activity users the same login.

It's bad control to allocate same login to two different users. Also if they logged in two didn't browser they will be kicking each other out.

Fwiw I think user sharing is a violation of the NS EULA. Not that they police that very hard (or really at all as far as I know) and I think tons of people do it. To Sam's point though, when user 2 logs in with that user, user 1 will be booted, so that won't work anyway if they're likely to be using it at similar times. Depending on what they're doing, you might be able to have some automated queries drop info into a network drive or something. Or if they're doing stuff covered by Employee Center licensing, you could try downgrading to that for several licenses on your next renewal.
