Does anyone have a solution to prevent your users from getting added to NetSuite's Bounced email addresses? Here's what has been happening (for years), hopefully someone has a solution out there: • We email a customer from NetSuite • At some point, that customer's email account gets compromised. • Spammer replies to the message.1234567.fkdsahfa@1234567.email.netsuite.com email (dozens of times) • NetSuite receives the email and attempts to forward it to our employee. • Our spam server blocks the email (dozens of times) • NetSuite considers this a bounce, user is flagged as a bounced email address. • No emails through NetSuite can be delivered to our employee, since NetSuite needs us to clear the bounced flag before it can send email to the address.

@James Morris I am aware of the bounced email address list. My issue is that when these email chains are being targeted by spammers, the user is constantly getting bounced. For the past 48 hours, I've been constantly removing a specific user from the bounced list, sometimes several times per hour.

If they're still actively be targeted, then they should be stopped/removed and the system is working as designed. That's kinda what this whole thing is about. To prevent other people from using NetSuite architecture for malicious purposes.
I think the only other option is to talk to your IT and let that spam through and then filter it out after the fact
Could talk to NetSuite support and maybe they can do something else, but I'm dubious about that
Alternatively, give your employee a new email address? 🤣

Well, the system is recognizing that the address bounced, so yes, technically it is working as intended, but with bad results. I don't think that the employee record should ever make it to the bounced address list if it has login access. Even assigning a new email address would not resolve this issue, since the system generated email is the one that is targeted and will always link back to the email on the employee record. So far I've found the only solution is to never send a bounceback to NetSuite or to see if NetSuite can prevent employee records with Login Access from getting added to the bounced address list. I was hoping that someone else has dealt with this headache. I can't imagine that I'm the only one.
