Is it possible to print different Item Label templates on different forms? For example, Item Label template A when printed from an Item record and Item Label Template B when printed from a SO. From what I’ve seen, it’s only the preferred item label template that is applied for all. Is it possible to print item labels from Return Authorization?

you need to create other custom forms and custom PDF templates to. Then use a workflow or script to set the PDF template to the form based on your selection criteria. I just did that for PO where forms gets selected based on the vendor's country and printed PO is different based on the country.

I have only been able to have 1 item label template throughout the whole system as well. This was a big limitation for us as well and very frustrating. Not sure why we couldn't get multiple item label templates to print Eventually found a much better solution through a third party that was not too expensive and very simple to use. It's been great and much easier to work with

@Sam-I-Am How did you accomplish this via WF? The URL for an Item Label is the same regardless of the template. Also, none of the WF Actions seem to print a selected pdf template.
The typical URL will end in : app/accounting/print/barcodeprinter.nl?itemid=3461

I think he's referring to transactions. You can define a different form per transaction and each form can have a different print template. But I don't think that works for Items Labels. You are right NetSuite only has 1 item label template that I know of I would checkout www.summitit.com. They were great to work with and offer completely customizable templates. Plus you can trigger an auto print from almost any trigger in NetSuite (ie reciept, shipment, pick, assembly build, you name it)

I have used summit IT's label suiteapp for zebra printers - it is great, Dawn Robel of Summit is very helpful

@Sam-I-Am I couldn't agree more. I've demo’d a lot of systems and been on a lot of projects in my years working with NetSuite and Summit IT has hands down, been the best company I have ever worked with
