I'm trying to find more information about how netsuite handles the return of a deactivated item. Would any of you happen to know where I can find more information about how that works?

I normally avoid returning inactive items and instead create a general non inventory credit item for that purpose.
Little manual, probably goofs the reporting on the inactive item, but you inactivated it for a reason, right?

Thanks for the reply, and that approach makes sense, but are you saying there's no standardized way to handle something like this? I would imagine that many companies encounter this with inventory roll-over, and items being replaced as part of what is stocked on their shelves versus what might be returned.
