How would you put an item on sale for a specific month?

There is a bundle Effective Date Pricing. might be overkill for your requirements. It will change prices to a date schedule.

@Netsuite Tragic do you use Effective Date pricing bundle or do you know off hand if it updates the existing transactions if they are after effective date? or you will need to update those manually and this only updates the item record

I have a client using it. It updates the item price levels. So only transaction created after the items have been updated would get the new pricing

thanks, that is what i figured from documentation, maybe we can have partner create a script to update sales order based on some logic.
