Here's a weird one with dashboards. We have a role with a published Dashboard (which is locked). One of the dashboard Tiles is a List. Within the List view, we offer other Views and Filters Somehow, the user has selected a filter or View (most likely a view based on the error) which shows the following error, and as such, cannot change the View back, as the options have disappeared
A User Error Has Occurred
Your formula contains a reference to a field for which you do not have a permission
We have tried: Removing the user from the Role and re-adding - didn't fix Republish the Dashboard - didn't fix Set default Views for the record in the List - didn't fix I also tried looking at the browser dev tool Network tab to see if I could find the Saved Search it was referencing but I couldnt. I loaded in of the Views on the List (as a different user with the same role) and didnt get the error, and non of the searches have a formula. Any thoughts on what else I can try before asking NS Support? Thanks!

A couple other things worth trying... Clear the user's cache or try loading the dashboard in Incognito mode.

I second what Patrick says. We have seen an uptick in this same error and a cache reset has worked each time.

It was a formula in a search. Finally managed to work out what search it was. The odd thing is the search formula references a field the user has access to, but errors on the search!
