Has anyone gone through implementation with Avalara for Cert Capture? How long was the implementation and was it pretty straight forward?

The hardest part of cert capture is the data piece. If your data is good and up to date it’s pretty straight forward but if you have outdated certs it can be a nightmare!

The UI is a little strange at some spots so definitely requires training for end users. Like Amy said, if your starting from scratch it should be pretty easy, but if you’re trying to connect existing certs and customers, it will be more difficult.

@Amy Carlson @eblackey how long would you say your implementation took?

This was from a prior life and it was implemented before I got there. But, we had a large acquisition and did a migration to a clean instance because it was such crap. I think it was 4 months but that also included the team validating and updating existing certs.

ours took 3 months. their implemntation consultants run through a standard project plan, training and etc. They are wanting to finish their work quickly without stopping. basic out of box solutions they will provide
