Hi all, I've seen online that you have to configure DMARC in order to get NS to stop treating it like DKIM wasn't configured Has anyone else found that? (I've configured DKIM but not DMARC... yet)

You don't need a complicated dmarc for it to work
If the email hits the destination server and is spam filtered that won't solve it
However. If NetSuite chooses not to send it because it considered it spam, the dmarc config is necessary
It's really only an issue if you are sending borderline/grey emails in bulk/quickly. I.e. A mass invoice send or other email send normally involving script

Wasn't going to ping you, as you commented it a year ago, so thanks for replying! Mail getting quarantined by MS defender, so not hitting by the spam filter (yet..) It's mostly invoices, which are being sent off all at the same time (individually). Might be the catalyst for the auto-invoicing that I've been pushing.
The reason I haven't just pushed even something as simple as
v=DMARC1; p=none;
onto our DNS is that there are other services sending on behalf/"from" our domain which are probably not DMARC conformant

Then dmarc wont change anything
NetSuite spam filter is to protect their email reputation, so if they are triggering it, it won't even leave the NS servers
