does anyone know how to update the display name of a subscription plan Item record that already existis on other records with release 2021.2 ? it seems the new release has restrictions on changing the display name and keeps giving this error .. Has anyone encountered this with the new release 2021.2 ?

The account change you have made is incompatible with old transactions. Please either change the account selection appropriately or do not request to update past transactions.

That message looks like a bug. If you were not changing a GL account linked to the subscription you should not be getting that message. I would open a ticket with NS for that one.
