Has anyone recently integrated Netsuite and Salesforce? If so, what did you use as middleware? I've used Celigo in the past, however, Salesforce is suggesting middleware called Mulesoft, which I assume they have a partnership with. Mulesoft appears to be a very easy to use connector but comes with a hefty price tag

Salesforce acquired Mulesoft in 2018 so it makes sense they would suggest it. From what I have seen for simpler out of the box use cases Celigo is cheaper and easier to use. If your requirements are more custom you should go full blown iPaaS like mulesoft or Dell Boomi or even fully custom. At my current job we have a fully custom integration.

Thanks

I agree with @michoel. Celigo is fine if you are passing data directly without any transformation. Mulesoft is a great tool, but it can require more of a technical resource to manage it.

Just need to make it clear that Celigo integrator.IO is a full ipaas that allows you do all sorts of complex transformations and orchestrations. Take a look at celigo.com/university
You can do a comparison with Boomi and Mulesoft on G2 or Gartner Peer insights to see how far the product has come these last few years. https://www.gartner.com/reviews/market/enterprise-integration-platform-as-a-service/compare/celigo-vs-mulesoft
