Hi everyone! We are an ad agency that went live about a year ago. We are now going through ACS and are realizing we should have gotten the WIP bundle from the start. Has anyone implemented WIP at a later date? I am in the accounting dept. Which WIP will no doubt benefit but I'm wondering how this may affect other departments (rollout was already painful for most of the agency). Will teams creating estimates need to relearn new items, how to create estimates, insertion orders, timesheets, etc? I realize it's somewhat dependent on company structure but just looking for anyone who has gone through something similar!

WIP is typically used by manufacturing companies. How do you see WIP benefitting your organization?

Hey Rebecca. We do a lot of pre-billing/deferred revenue for media purchased, as well as incurred expenses (usually travel, fedex, etc.) that we may not bill for until the project is completed. We are currently undergoing ACS and they were extremely surprised that WIP was not reco'd to us during implementation as most media/ad agencies have this bundle.
