@CD @Roy L @AI1 we are having a hard time to explain this to upper management, did you guys got any mitigation plan for this? Netsuite didn't give much of a explanation on why this happen and how they would make sure it won't happen again

Caused a right mess for us. High 6 figures of mess. Anyway, you won't get a reasonable explanation, it was just a bug. I'm just starting a project to move to another payments system, so I'm putting in rudimentary checks like this.

Yeah no real explanation other than a email late Friday night saying to “check your payment files manually”. Other than having our team review each payment file before uploading to the bank I couldn’t tell what else can be done

I've been on netsuite since 2016 and it's the first for this specific bundle from netsuite. Sometimes these things happen and it's really hard to prepare for it. Our accounting team recognized it immediately, stopped the ACH payment through the bank, and we communicated to our associates internally (we process expense reports through ACH). The only thing we really could do was push netsuite to get it resolved. So when they asked us the impact, I said millions of $ (though not true, but it got resolved the next day).
