when i create a sub customer why does it repeat the parent subsidiary in the list? It doesn't create another record but still it displays 414:1 twice and 414:2 twice.

got any field from the customer record displayed in that sublist?

no everything else is blank, i got ID Name, subsidiary, Primary contact Phone and EMail.

also another thing on the sales order report, This Test customer doesn't come up under parent subsidiary it comes up under consolidated but not under parent subsidiary, the Child does but not the parent customer

are you sure that they didn't get created twice?

i.e. if you hit edit - on both is their internal ID in the URL the same?

no if you see the ID they are 1 and 2 there are not 4 IDs

that's why you're seeing more than 1 result

remove the subsidiary from your view and it should show only 1 line per customer.

yup that dod the trick but then how would i know which customer is for which subsidiary, i guess i need to code that into name

the reason I had subsidiary was to identify easily

also why i don't see the parent company on the parent subsidiary report for the sales order

That one doesn't have an easy answer most likely

thanks let me do more digging because it's weird that i can see it on the consolidated report but no mention on the subsidiary it's like it doesn't exist

I feel like this is a defect? you can only see secondary subsidiary information on the core report

that's the biggest limitation and it's not even mentioned in Multi Subsidiary customer feature limitation
