in importing Chart of Accounts, how come the Inventory and Summary checkbox is not available in the Import Assistant? Is there a setting I need to enable?

I came across this same issue / limitation, I wasn't able to find a solution I'm afraid so I just ticked the box manually on every summary account during CoA setup.

I did the exact same thing. It took me about 1.5 hours to do it all. Frustrating

It just baffles me with all the implementations done so far that this is a problem. Does everyone seriously manually tick it for every implementation. 😐 Or there might be a fix that's just not documented which is also weird

Yep, I'm surprised this doesnt come up more often on here.

There are many ‘implementation’ quirks but I think the NS return on investment on improving that is low as it’s a once off for most people except consultants. :(.
