Assuming it's not possible, but can you remove the ability for people to change views on forms and sublists, etc.? I don't think it's a good idea, but I'm being asked if it can be done.

You can restrict someone to a view - not sure if this takes away their ability to change which view is in the drop down or if it only restricts records returned.

Check out the "restrict" tab on the role.

I'll see if this gets them what they want.

I'd try it on one record type and see if it accomplishes what you are looking for

Note - you'll have to do that for *each* record type, including each transaction type if you are restricting transactions

You'd restrict the sublist that way though

I think options are to restrict the list, the search, and the sublist via saved search
