[SOLVED] Anyone heard of another NetSuite customer emailing out of their NetSuite account using your "From address"? We setup DKIM this morning (following the setup to the letter), and a customer of ours contacted us with an email sent from a different NetSuite customer with our employee, email and domain in their "from" address!?

you would want to log that with NS Support along with the email header data. is there any relationship between the entities? same consultants?
d
Yeah, lodging a case for it currently. No relation that I know of, though I think I'll reach out to the other NS customer. Potentially same consultants or domain hosts (both us and them are Australasian)

@David B I also like to utilise the BCC email from accounts if experiencing issues like this. This will give you more data points if needed.

very Halnon's Razor moment 🪒 Turns out the recipient had added NetSuite's default "system@sent-via.netsuite.com" email address to their address book with our employee's name This happened to be the first time they'd ordered from another company using NetSuite, so when responding to the email, Outlook matched the email to the existing contact and put the "from" address as being ours...

Amazing. Thanks for reporting back.
