Has anyone had issue w/ permissions today? I'm using netsuite's rebate bundle and i'm getting an error that a search doesn't have permission for a join "Custom". I gave the user all of the rebate custom records w/ full permission to see if it'll work and thats not sticking it seems. These rebate records are the only records involved.

are you sure it's not the custom records permission instead of the individual record types?

Not sure if it is applicable, but did you try adding the "Custom Record Entries" permission? I had a similar issue that it was due to that permission not being added

Yeah it was there already. It was a downstream custom record for some reason even though nothing was being searched on it

may be downstream custom record is being cross referenced in some way.

i see this happen with non stored value fields.

FYI they added employee record as permission to employee center role in December, before that it didn't have any option for employee record in the list permission

@creece Hey Chris, How is this bundle working out? I need to implement Rebates quickly and tried to download and install in my Sandbox. It appears that the bundle doesn't exist anymore. When i click on "SuiteSolutions - Rebate Management" this bundle, i get an error. Is this the bundle you installed? Perhaps it goes by a different name now? Thanks

@JR, If I remember correctly, is not public, you need to contact support in order to get shared the bundle to your account

@Roc127 Hey Roc, thanks for your input. I just got off with support and they claim that the bundle doesn't exist anymore. I did download a different one "ITBS Rebate Management" and it seems to be the same or very similar. I really don't know what to think now. I'm going to try it out tonight or tomorrow.

I just double check it - is in fact a SuiteSolution bundle, so you might need to file a ticket for that team, not through regular support. Not sure if it is available to everybody.

@JR I was just doing a customization on it. I have no idea how its working out otherwise.

@creece Got ya, no worries. I downloaded a different bundle that appears to be the same software, but i really don't know for sure. Support kicked me back to my NS rep. We'll see if i hear back from them. Happy Friday.
