Hello all, does anyone know the significance of a double chevron for a dropdown box on the item record accounting tab versus a single chevron?  Any help would be appreciated!

Single Chevron - you will have a dropdown of field options.
Double Chevron - options are too many &amp; netsuite will present List box

In this case that is not actually why, I have double chevrons with fewer options that the single chevrons. Such as three options with a double chevron

perhaps it is a list ignoring filters, we are using custom segments but have them filtered out to only display those available that meet certain criteria

that's an interesting observation. I just tried to replicate my original theory in my dev account, i'm not exactly sure what the threshold is. I know I've had a client who was happily using a single chevron "dropdown" for a field then one day they created extra options and the field operation changed to double chevron and never went back.
