does anyone use the same item across subsidiary? assembly item/ standard cost.

We have multiple subs that share items and assemblies. Assemblies are at Specific Cost.

Any pros and cons of doing that? We use standard cost, so it will need to revaluated twice right?

I hadn't thought about that. My netsuite gut tells me that once the Assembly has been built and the Standard Cost components were consumed into the specific cost of that assembly then the any component cost revaluations will not get reflected in the Assemblies. I haven't tested it though.
