Hi NSers! Is anyone familiar with inventory transactions at month end and preventing Assembly Builds, Inventory Adjustments, etc, from being posted in a locked period? Is there a way to prevent these transactions from posting since they are not A/R or A/P transactions?

@Cheryll Gardner what are you seeing? I would be expecting that they cannot post as they also have financial impact. They might be dated in the period but I’m hoping that the period would be the frost open period.

Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences > General > General Ledger > CREATE AND EDIT INVENTORY TRANSACTIONS DATED IN CLOSED PERIODS

@Netsuite Tragic @Mars Thanks for the replies. Digging further, we had incorrect information from the users. They were only locking A/R and A/P and not all transactions which was allowing the inventory trans to post.

@Cheryll Gardner glad to hear. I got to learn from @Mars about that setting option.
