NS Support says this is the standard behavior that all subsidiaries can see all location, that doesn't make sense to me. It is a standard behavior that all Location will be shown on the Location field on the item record even when the user is from another subsidiary and even when another subsidiary is selected on the item record.

Does that extend to transactions?

I don’t think so, this is just on the item record and support said if they select incorrect location system will throw an error

I mean, I guess I can't see a reason that that would be a huge issue

@Suitestallion when i view an item record and limit by Subsidiary Navigator, my location list is limited to just that Sub. re there other settings that might be impacting your standard behaviour ie Allow Cross Subsidiary viewing or Cross Subsidiary fulfillments.

Hmm I will check that, I will also test if i can save an item with location from different subsidiary, I hope people don’t do that but you never know this is 2020.

I hope you will see that a Role can only create items for their subsidiaries. :)

I have just recently reviewed all setup preferences for another issue and vaguely remember that there is a setting related to this. Sorry I don't have time to check for it again.
