how would you see the item type of inventory vs lot numbered vs serialized item,

What method are you using to get the item type?  Saved search definitely returns different types for them on a generic item search.

i tried saved search let me try again, it doesn't even display the type field on the item view

on the search it just says inventory item, but in reality it is lot numbered inventory item, sub type is for non inventory for purchase, resale or sale. not for inventory, lot number inventory or serialized inventory

There is a column called `is lot numbered` maybe just pull that in?
