My users com up with some good ones.. is there a way you can lock down the userNotes date field , and only \for only Case items?

Are you referring to the System Notes fields? You can create a new view and limit access.

Thanks for the reply.. I think I found a Custom Entry form for the Note Record.. I didn't expect to find such a thing. and it has a Custom Code Script file box.. So I may have found my answer..
