Had an order failed to be created in NetSuite from our e-commerce platform with this error showing in the log: "Failed to save record because Credit card number is not valid. Please check that all digits were entered correctly" - the payment gateway used is Klarna which is a buy now pay later gateway and no credit card is associated with the transaction. The payment method in NS has the "Type" = payment card, which maybe is the issue, however, I can't change this as it's been used already. Would it be safe to create another payment type (Klarna) and set the type to something else that isn't expecting credit card details?
