Has anyone enabled amortization schedules on credit card transactions? I'm unable to locate these fields on the transaction form, neither am I able to assign these fields to Credit Card type forms.

It's only applicable to journal entry, vendor bill and vendor bill credits as far as I know. You may consider creating a journal entry instead to utilize the amortization feature for credit card transactions.

Correct; custom fields added to credit card field that are tied into the standard JE fields so a credit card upload with these fields populated will trigger a JE entry. Look at it as an allocation JE
