There is an option for adding a grace period on top of customer due date in accounting settings. Is there a similar feature for adding some tolerance for credit limits? Ex: credit limit is 1000, we can add some tolerance of 100, therefore orders should still process as long as it's below 1100. If this is not possible could we potentially script something? not how we'd override NS core Customer Hold functionality

Why not just set your credit limit at 1100?
if you are communicating the credit limit to the customer, you could use a custom field

the issue we have is that we have another channel where orders are sent from - and we don't really want to block orders because someone has gone over 0.01! right now it's a manual intervention which is quite time consuming
