Note - it could be the combination of workflows and scripts on it. Probably the easiest way to tell would be to go to the scripted records page - and turn off scripts 1 at a time until you can enter lines more than 100. Personally, I don't have enough patience to handle over 150 lines from a load time perspective, but I get why it happens in some business cases.
