12/03/2018, 9:34 PMHi - is it possible to attach a file to JE without edit access? Approvers are looking to attach files but they don't have edit access so wondering how this is done at other orgs without having to send back to preparer

12/04/2018, 1:23 AMYou can use drag and drop module and set JE as one of the target record. Once drag and drop is set for JE any one with permission for files and documents should be able to attach file by dragging and dropping the file in designated area on JE record.

12/04/2018, 6:27 PMHi @Sam-I-Am - thanks for suggestion which I tried. So the person is able to drag and drop files which gets stored in the file cabinet but it does not get associated with the journal (communcations > files) for which atleast edit level to JE is required
