What are the options I have to speed up the process, or to limit the number of transactions needed to update while still keeping the update revenue arrangements and revenue plan automatically every 3 hours feature within NetSuite accounting preferences?

That’s expected at high volume. To speed it up, try narrowing which transactions trigger updates (filters, date ranges, or transaction types). Also stagger processing or move the auto-update frequency from 3 hrs to something more realistic for 500k+ records.
