I'm trying to mark my accumulated depreciation account to a summary however it is greyed out. it is system generated but my accounts payable system generated account still allows me to check the summary. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Accumulated depreciation accounts are system accounts tied directly to fixed asset functionality, so NetSuite locks certain settings including the summary flag. Unlike Accounts Payable or other system accounts, depreciation accounts are hard-coded to behave in financial reports and cannot be converted to summary accounts.
