Do you guys experience Claude becoming disconnected when the user changes their role in Netsuite UI? We have one role setup for Claude.AI MCP and it connects ok, but when that user changes roles in NetSuite, the 'app' is no longer connected in Claude. We have to Connect it again.

@PlanetJupiter the best practice is to use a separate user/role for MCP-related work.

@Mohammad Sharaf Ali we do have a dedicated AI role. A copy of an existing role but with the extra AI requirements. But each time I connect Claud, then use the UI to login to the non-AI role, Claude gets disconnected.

@PlanetJupiter create a new user and assign the dedicated AI role to it. Then try logging in with that user.

@Mohammad Sharaf Ali we can't. We have SSO with Azure and our corporate policies won't permit 'generic user' accounts.

@PlanetJupiter it’s due to how the session works. If that were a different NS account (separate from the MCP one), this wouldn’t happen. Hopefully, NS will have a fix for it soon.
