Hey guys, I'm exploring the world of SuitePromotions and I was wondering if it's possible to show a promotion on the item pricing. Let's say i have a fixed item price promo for a customer group, can it be achieved that those customers see the fixed price on the shop? Like: Item XY 99€ clearance discount: 80€ Customers have different price levels but in this case it's the same flat price for everyone... This should also be available in NetSuite itself, so i guessed a customer limited auto-apply promotion would be the best?

To have it appear as you want, you would need to either change the price on the item record, or create a customisation to manually change how it appears on the PDP. The latter would be problematic because it wouldn't change where it appears everywhere else.
Fixed price promotions only affect prices when they are shown in the cart and checkout

I think you could also achieve this with pricing groups
i.e. at the ‘promo’ items to a pricing group, and then for the eligible customers, add group pricing entry on their customer records that ties that pricing group to a custom price level. We did something similar for closeout prices a while back.

Hey, thanks for the quick replies! Unfortunately we're in a OneWorld environment sharing items in multiple subsidiaries. So changing the pricing group is what we're ding right now but it came to problems that different entities have different life cycles for the products.
What type of promotion would be needed to display it right away in SCA?

As I said, promotions don't affect the prices that are shown on PDPs, or indeed anywhere else other than when the item has been added to the cart

You could use a standard or custom field that appears on a PDP and says something like "Additional discount will be applied in the cart!"

Ok, thanks for the clarification! I'll check with my colleagues what's the best approach for us.
