I have a feeling this is a bit of a stupid question, but is there something I need to do in order to enable correlated items? We never used them before on this account, but I see them working on other accounts. None of our items have any correlated items associated with them and NetSuite documentation is VERY sparse on the subject… Slack Conversation

From my understanding you cannot handle the correlated items, Suitecommerce add them dynamically: Correlated items are dynamically created from the site statistics based on the shopper's buying behavior, such as the ratio of items added to the shopping cart versus those that were ultimately purchased. The list of correlated items is updated every 30 days.

@eminero Yeah, I understand that correlated items are dynamic. But I don’t see any correlations happening anywhere… Normally, I can load an item record, click on the related tab and see the items that are correlated to that item. I don’t see anything… 🤨

I think the correlated item statistics are built/generated when orders are placed against the item(s).
like what did the customer both inconjunction with this item.

Have you considered using our fancy new Intelligent Items Recommender?

There's an uplift % setting in the website setup record (upsell tab). Have you got values set there?
j
@Steve Goldberg I have not, but I have a feeling we’re on a prohibitive version of SCA to effectively utilize that. We’re still on mountain-named versions
s
Ah, then yeah you can't. SCA 2018.2 minimum

@Dominic B There are values there, but they’re all zero. I would think that would be the least-restrictive option and would kind of include everything. Maybe I need to put some actual values in there. I put 5s for everything. Hopefully it can rely on historical data and not live order data. I’d like to test out in sandbox, but I don’t want to have to place a ton of test orders for correlation to start happening…
