Anyone using Avalara (Avatax) with SCA web store? We recently installed/implemented the Avalara Avatax for SuiteTax bundle. It works fine when calculating sales tax on orders placed directly in Netsuite, but we are experiencing several bugs on our SCA web store. The only way customers can successfully checkout is if they register and add a shipping address at the time of registration - registering an account at checkout doesn't work and guest checkout doesn't work. The following error message appears every time:

Tax calculation failed with notification: [{"locale":"en_US","severity":"ERROR","message":"Tax Calculation Plugin error: Invalid tax calculation output: item line taxes array must contain exactly one element for every input line."}]

. We've had Avalara's engineers as well as Netsuite Support (not that it's much help) review our system and both determined that configuration is correct. However, neither can provide a solution. Hoping someone else has dealt with and reconciled this issue.

I have not worked with something similar at all but based on the error message, check if you have a client script running on web store context (scriptable cart) or if any of your customization on SCA are adding logic for items added to the cart.
