Can we file this as a defect / enhancement request?

The AvaTax custom fields are configured as Store Item = T, and Hidden = T... and they still show up.

Hidden flag is only supported for SiteBuilder.  No code changes required, you can configure the fields that show up in the configuration record (shopping catalog/item options) check the show only items listed in "item options and custom transaction column fields".  And then load up the custom fields you want to see.  This will eliminate the avatax and other 3rd party / custom fields
