Hello, This question is regarding the SC Extension Manager. I hope someone might be able to answer my query. We currently have a custom theme and 6 custom extensions activated in our system. (We're running SC 2020.1.8.1 and SCEM 2020.1.3.2) Activating our theme and extensions is taking a lot of time, around 25-30 minutes. Will adding more extensions to this list slow-down this process even more? Also, is there any upper limit to how many extensions we can activate?

Activation uses (amongst other things) map/reduce scripts to process the changes. Long activation times would suggest other scripts running at the same time, competing for resources. It is possible to speed it up by purchasing additional SuiteCloud LIcenses. If that's not the case, it's kinda hard to diagnose exactly what the problem is. More extensions / complex code can increase time, but I don't think it should be that dramatic. 6 extensions is a pretty 'standard' number.

Thanks for the response @Steve Goldberg . We have been getting timeout errors lately while activating extensions (for which we have a ticket open), and were concerned if it is due to the number of extensions that we are activating. Good to know that we can scratch that out, since we'll probably be adding more extensions going ahead.
