Hey everyone, can anyone help me understand why my suite commerce theme (that I deployed through gulp) is not displaying in my extension manager panel? (the logging on the theme deploy indicated successful deployment)

What versio on you on? Just curious
r
2020.2
sorry 2020.1
m
Were you able to fetch the theme in your extension dev tools?
r
yeah, I was able to fetch the theme, make the changes I wanted to make, test locally, and when I deployed (creating a new name for the theme) I received the dialogue prompting me to navigate to the extension manager and activate the theme
m
And under themes in Activate Themes and Extensions its not showing?
r
Correct. I did see that someone else asked this question some months ago on the sight but there was no answer, so I do not believe I am the first person to see this issue.
m
You still have the summit theme activated in that same panel if you click on themes do you see your theme?
r
no, it just filters that list of themes and extensions to only the themes, and my new one isnt there
message has been deleted
m
hmmmm maybe check if its in the sc.mechext extensions if so check the target version. Thats about all i can think of maybe remove the file and then redeploy

Im pretty new to this architecture, I am not sure where to look for that
m
customization->list records &fileds-> record types
then just command shift mechExtension
r
got you
e
@Ross Orr in the global search type the name your theme or the fantasy name (both are in the manifest.json) then in the results should appear your theme (SC ExtMech Extension ) go to that record and delete the target version. When the versions do not match on the extension manager, the theme/extensions are not displayed to be activated.
