We are running into an intermittent 3D Secure error when placing an order in SCA. This is in Guest Checkout with Skip Checkout Login = T. The user has already filled out the entire Checkout form, and when they click the Place Order button, 3D Secure runs but then returns a "Please log in to perform this operation" error, The frontend Profile Model confirms the user is logged in at the point, so we cannot figure out why this error occurs. CyberSource does seem to capture the error, but we suspect that it is something on the NetSuite backend. Any ideas? (cc @Rehan Ali )

@Rehan Ali and @Dominic B reported the same problem

it´s likely to be to due to SameSite cookie behavior in Chrome 80

c
@Flo That makes sense. Do you know if the 3D Secure 2.0 implementation in SCA 2020.1 suffers from the same cookie issue?
f
yes, the problem it´s not actually the 3D secure implemention
it´s generic
Chrome now only delivers cookies with cross-site requests if they are set with "SameSite=None" and "Secure"
3d secure works within an iframe, that´s why

@Flo Meilan is there any work around for this. NS support came back and stated its a U4 defect. We can't wait that long for a fix This issue has cost us over £500,000 in lost sales in the last 4 weeks
f
This issue is not actually assigned to the commerce team so we have not checked for possible workarounds. Have you mentioned to support the business impact ?
r
@Flo Meilan Yes, I replied back on the ticket asking for a faster resolution due to the high impact on sales. FYI our case number is Case # 3923931 I will also reach out to our account manager.
d
Our account manager said this was escalated as high as possible, but we've since been told it's U3.
c
@Dominic B We've been told it has been escalated to U3 as well
p
Does this issue got resolved?
r
@Paper Plane Netsuite Group Yes we had a temporary fix put in a couple of weeks ago and since then 3D secure has worked correctly
p
@Rehan Ali Thanks for your quick reply. if there is a permanent fix also expected
r
Yes, NS are working in the background to build a permanent fix but I don't have any timescales on when it will be done.
